August 18, 2026 – The New Drug Application (NDA) for Progen's independently developed Recombinant Human Serum Albumin Injection (rHSA, indicated for the treatment of cirrhotic ascites) has been formally accepted by the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
This acceptance marks the entry of the product's review and approval process into the substantive stage, and represents another key milestone for Progen in its path of independent innovation and industrialization of recombinant protein therapeutics.
